Journey to the East: A Trek in the Sikkimese Himalayas and an Exploration of the Indian Northeast October 28-November 15, 2008.

Integral Expeditions invites you to travel with us to the magnificent Indian Himalayas and the cities of Calcutta and Darjeeling to explore the cultural, historical, spiritual, and physical richness of these regions. We will visit Hindu temples, trek through some of the highest mountains in the world, and wander the streets of a beautiful colonial
outpost of the old British Empire.

In this program we will explore Tibetan Buddhism within its natural milieu, have a quiet experience of one of the worlds most spectacular landscapes, and see a world where the sacred and secular appear to mix seamlessly. We believe that this immersion will enable us to reflect upon the modern world we have created, and view ourselves through the ancient prism which is India. This program includes a moderate, fully supported seven night trek.
