Integral Health and Training Institute invites you to travel with us to the beautiful
Indonesian Island of Bali to experience first hand a land of terraced rice fields,
Hindu Temples, magnificent white sandy beaches, and a culture of artists. In
this workshop, we will explore and practice Mindfulness techniques shown to
be effective for the treatment of physical and psychological disorders as well as
the reduction of health care provider compassion fatigue. Presented by leaders in
the fields of Psychology and Nursing, this workshop promises to be an exciting
and transformative experience amid the beauty, art, and serenity of Bali, an
ideal setting for such work.
We hope you will join us.
July 4-10
We arrive at Zen Bali Resort. Founded by Dr. Mahendra Shah, this Wellness
Resort integrates Ayurvedic Medicine, Movement, Meditation, and Massage
and sits in a lush, ecologically balanced, natural environment. On grounds
surrounded by gardens, rice terraces, and vineyards, Zen Resort is perched
above the Sea of Bali, with paths leading down to a tranquil, secluded beach.
In addition to the workshop, there will be ample time to engage in outdoor
activities and to explore and apply what we study. Daily program will also
include hiking, sailing, Ayurvedic treatments, and relaxation.
July 10–13
We will travel to the Alam Jiwah Hotel in Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.
